I am defending no religion. To me they are all equal.You wrote: Speration of church and state,which most Muslims do not want,more so than Christians.Do you really think that Christianity or even Judaism do not play heavy roles in US Govt? They heavily influence our govts actions throughout the country and the world. Why do they disclose their religion to be elected if we have true separation. A person can be dumber than a tree stump, but Christian and still get elected in this country.

All religions can be abused. Doesnt matter which name, prophet, God, etc is attached to it. It can still be and does get abused. Its usually started by those that reign in the highest offices. Power, Greed and Control usually accompany the abuse as it starts expanding. Then It starts influencing/infiltrating govt BUT govts are supp to be separated from religion. Islam paints the same picture against Judaism and Christianity as they do against Islam even though they worship the same God. Sad.

I'm all for ppls right under the 1st Amendment of the Constitution to worship (or not) as they please. But when ANY group/religion gets pushy with it and lays claims that Theirs is the one and only, all others are evil, follow us or else, "we are the chosen ones" or kill others and yourself while I cont to reap the benefits of your actions, then I have a big problem with that regardless if its Islam, Christianity, American Idol Worship or whatever. All are equal in the eyes of the Constitution.
