@greyghost91B2P I would love to go back to '69. The greatest year for cars ever. Great music!! I was only 7 at the time, but would have loved to have been 18 that year.

Ya .... 1966-1969 was a great time. It does feel like a dream. I still had my 55 but my best bud had a new SS-396 even with piece of crap shifter it was still baaaad. I had my Picnic June 67-Jan 69 as a 11D, got to come back early from the second tour for reasons many of you know about. The world is NOT a better place today. As long as we can remember we still get to keep a piece of it.

@ickipoo Roger That ! Great tune from the distant past. A time when life was so different. Some time's I feel as tho I was on another planet. The Summer of 67 was LBJ's world. " The Great Society ". Bombs, bullets and bullshit ! The Summer of 69 was the best. 1st year out of the green machine, decent job, new SS-396 and bucu hot chics. 41 years later it still feels like a dream.
